As Omnipoint switches are limited to the Standard Key Zone on the Apex Pro keyboards, Dual Actuation is not available on the function keys, arrow keys, or numpad keys. We’ll just use the Quick Record feature for this, which is found directly under the key dropdown. Next, we’ll select the W key, and create a binding for Shift + W. Now that we have our actuation levels set, let’s go and create our run key! To do this, we’ll go to the “Dual Bindings” menu in the configuration window. If you’d like to set only a single key, you can do so simply by clicking on the key, or by finding the key in the list on the left-hand side of the window. By default, all keys are selected, so you’ll be changing the dual actuation for all Omnipoint keys.
